World Cup bronze - Uruguay v Germany

The fans of Uruguay are very proud of their own football team, although they did not get medals.

Edinson Cavani from Uruguay scored on the first round when Suárez selected just the right moment to kick the ball to Cavani.


As well as Diego Forlán who made his fifth goal in this year´s World Cup, in the bronze-final.

Luis Suarez is carried forward and celebrated by team mates after a penalty-kick contest win on July 2 (Uruguay 4-2 Ghana). Paraguay had also a penalty-kick contest and won against the good football team of Japan on June 29 (Paraguay 5-3 Japan).

Octopus Paul predicted right again and again!

Paul opens the glass container he thinks going to win, with a tentacle and pick-up the shell with another.

This is the match between Germany vs England, on June 27 in Bloemfontein. Where the scores in the first round should be 2-2. The ball hit the pole and fly in the net over the German keeper. The football referees did not see it? But Lampard from England was sure, he did it. The game ended with, Germany 4-1 England.

Paul is right, again! The Germans hoped that the Octopus is wrong, but no. Germany 0-1 Spain.

Football World Cup 2010

This is the 19th FIFA World Cup, and it is being held in South Africa. It started on June 11 and going to end on July 11, 2010. This is the first time that the tournament has been hosted by an African nation. There are 32 teams from different countries who are going to play, in 10 different stadiums.

Zakumi is the mascot of 2010 FIFA World Cup.


England´s match game with USA in Rustenburg, Royal Bafokeng Stadium right now. With a capacity of 38,646. Good luck to both. Let´s start the game.

Eurovision Song Contest 2010 Finals

There were 2 semi-finals held this week, 17 countries each had competed on May 25-27. All in all are from 39 countries. 17 contestants on Tuesday became 10, as well as on Thursday, so 20 countries are singing to the finals with the other 5 countries who are already qualified. They are: Germany, France, Spain, United Kingdom and Norway. Here are the 25 finalists who are going to sing and compete in Oslo this evening in Telenor Arena in Fornebu, May 29, 2010.
