Knut, the popular polar bear

Knut, the polar bear was rejected by his mother when he was a child, and was raised by humans. He made his public debut in March 2007, in front of a huge press corps.
The late Thomas Dörflein was Knut s zookeeper from the start. As Knut s spare Dad, he was present everyday, and followed the polar bear s progress closely.
In Knut s first months of life, he showed up Knut to the press and those present everyday.
The whole world s favorite teddy bear located in Berlin Zoo, shown up for the people from day one. Knut said "hi".
Spare Dad Thomas Dörflein and polar bear Knut slept next to each other. They went hiking morning before opening hours and went into the water to ensure Knut swimming skills.
Pet Hagens Bear expert Heiner Chloe said yesterday that Knut is not sick.
Between 600 and 700 guests in Berlin Zoo stood by in front of Knut and watched him die in the water. Several have taken pictures of the floating, lifeless body.
There are claims to the German newspaper that the polar bear first moved in circles. Then he had several seizures. Then, Knut fell in the water and died on March 19, 2011.
Here, Knut celebrates his fourth birthday on December 5, 2010. He got the fish dish, salad and a four-figure made of dough.


Polar bear Knut has died, only 4 years old. He walked around in circles before he got spasms and fell backwards into the water and died on Saturday, March 19, 2011 in the zoo. he was autopsied on Monday, March 21.
Knut will be stopped out on the biological museum in Berlin.

World Cup bronze - Uruguay v Germany

The fans of Uruguay are very proud of their own football team, although they did not get medals.



Uruguay Football Association (Asociatión Uruguaya de Fútbol). Nicknames -Charrúas, La Celeste Olímpica(The Olympic Sky Blue).
Edinson Cavani from Uruguay scored on the first round when Suárez selected just the right moment to kick the ball to Cavani.


As well as Diego Forlán who made his fifth goal in this year´s World Cup, in the bronze-final.

Luis Suarez is carried forward and celebrated by team mates after a penalty-kick contest win on July 2 (Uruguay 4-2 Ghana). Paraguay had also a penalty-kick contest and won against the good football team of Japan on June 29 (Paraguay 5-3 Japan).

Octopus Paul predicted right again and again!

Paul opens the glass container he thinks going to win, with a tentacle and pick-up the shell with another.

This is the match between Germany vs England, on June 27 in Bloemfontein. Where the scores in the first round should be 2-2. The ball hit the pole and fly in the net over the German keeper. The football referees did not see it? But Lampard from England was sure, he did it. The game ended with, Germany 4-1 England.

Paul is right, again! The Germans hoped that the Octopus is wrong, but no. Germany 0-1 Spain.

The Worlds famous Octopus Paul has made himself unpopular after he chose Spain in the semi-finals. Angry Germans will make paella of Paul.

FIFA President Sepp Blatter and Queen Sofia of Spain were watching the match between Spain and Germany, in Durban.

In red, Carles Puyol scored in the second round against Germany 0-1 Spain on July 7 in Durban at the World Cup semi-final.

MS Deutschland towed to Bergen

MV Deutschland in Eidfjord, Norway when fire started on May 23, in the Cruise ship with 607 passengers and crew members.

The fire was located in the engine room which started at 12:30 pm.

Firemen, Ambulance, Policemen and Helicopters arrived to stop the fire and help the passengers inside the cruise ship.

The firemen were able to stop the fire after 5 hours.

Here are the passengers. Two of them are Dietrich Brindöpke in MV Deutschland on Norway tour with his wife. They have been in the beautiful Geiranger, Flåm, and Eidfjord. And the next port would be home in Hamburg, he said.

MV Deutschland which was damaged by fire in the engine room on Sunday, 23rd May at 12:31 pm, was towed to Bergen on Monday. The 607 passengers and crew members were sent by plane to Germany on Monday, 24th May. This 175 meter long ship is towed from Eidfjord by the help of 2 boats, and is expected to take around 20 hours to Bergen, western part of Norway.

The Norwegian Policemen are going to conduct technical inspections and try to find out why the fire occurred.

German Football Keeper Robert Enke

Robert Enke(1977-2009), a German Football Keeper died after committing suicide, hit by a train on Tuesday November 10, just 32 years old. He has a wife Teresa and an 8 month old adopted daughter.

The German Football Manager Oliver Bierhoff, the Coach Joachim Löw and the Former Coach Jürgen Klinsmann showed their respect to Robert Enke.

Six football players from Hannover carried the coffin out of the Football Stadium after the ceremony today November 15. The funeral was held later at the same day in private ceremony for his family and closest friends.
